Gluten Free Veggie Quiche

When I get bored I want to cook.  Cooking engages my brain, it smells good, it tastes good, and if I do it right, it looks good.  I’ve created something wonderful from just a few random forgotten ingredients in the fridge.  This quiche was no different.  Its the end of the week and I have odds and ends in the fridge that need to get used up.

When I first heard of chia seeds I immediately thought of my college archaeology classes where I learned that chia was a staple food for prehistoric people.  I thought that it couldn’t be the same stuff, but it actually is! 

Why I Love My Espresso Machine with Recipes

It’s 5am.  My alarm goes off, but I have already been awake for a little while just lying in bed enjoying the silence of the early morning.  No other time of day is this quiet and peaceful.  I reach over and hit the off button on my phone before the ringing wakes Gavin, who has likely snuck into bed next to me sometime during the night.  After rising from the warmth of the blankets, the very first thing I do is head to my new espresso machine in the kitchen.
