Currently growing in Southern California
I know its been three months since my last post. I haven’t forgotten you, as a matter of fact, I think about blogging all the time! I have been stuck trying to get back into my blogging groove. So much has changed in my life from when I blogged weekly. I am having trouble getting a rhythm going. But instead of just waiting for the perfect moment to strike (which will never happen) I’m just going to jump in and see where it takes me.

Sometimes I feel like the garden is the only place where I feel completely at peace. There is so much turmoil in our world today that I tend to get caught up and feel like I am drowning in problems by the end of the day. Spending a few minutes in the garden right when I come home from work is often the best part of my day.

Remember the dirt patch by my front door? That is now the herb garden. I have cilantro, thyme, oregano, parsley, and pineapple sage planted there along with the mint that’s still trying to take over.

Yesterday was the first semi-warm day we have had in weeks. It’s been so cold and wet this winter! Lots of rain and even some snow flurries, which is rare. Gavin and I took advantage of the warmth to make some plans for this year’s garden.
