Yesterday I made myself a new prop for photographing food. I love using layers of white so I made myself a faux white bread board. I used scrap 1/4 inch plywood and cut it into a rough cheese/bread board shape. I sanded the edges and gave it a nice coat of watered down white paint so the texture of the wood grain would show through a little.
I used some vegetables from my garden as props and tried it out.
I love the extra bit of texture it lends to the photo without taking away from the beans themselves.
I am working on a recipe post to come soon!
